Proud mommy moment!

I have been working on getting my son on a schedule. So far I thought nothing was working. I have a crazy lifestyle. From my husband wacko job hours and hanging out with friends. E has not had a steady routine. I read most mommy blogs to see where I was going wrong or what else I should add. Being a Early EDU major you would think I would have this pack down tight. Well we are not all perfect. I Started with a Bath, I let him play for about 20 minutes tops. He just loves the water. Then we give him a lotion massage. He love to play with his hands during this time. Once his night diaper is on we just let him play a little either with us or in his crib.  I give him one last bedtime feeding. To me this is the "perfect" routine. It works best with our lifestyle. However, we do end up running late because of traffic or dinner dates. I am also at that stage where a babysitter is just out of the question. He is too young to be left alone for more than an hour. We thought after a...

Apps that saved me money!

Image
With all these new apps and crazy technology someone has to ask. "Make one that saves me money!" Living in hawaii you tend to see the big gap in prices. A gallon of milk on the mainland is 3$ where here it's almost 9$. Crazy, I know. So I spend my days looking for apps that are designed to save me money.  For food there are checkout 51 . This app gives you coupon like saving. You just upload your recipe and collect your savings. Once you have retched 20$ you get a check in the mail. Awesome right! If you look at the App Store you might find a lot more that can save you money. I just use this one for now.  Some gorgercy store have apps and offer their own coupons besides the ones in the paper. Target now has the  cartwheel app. Scan an item and it might be on sale! Who  does not love target?! Safeway has their app where you can just clip the coupon and it goes right into your Safeway card. Easier than bring in a bag of coupons I think.  Gas!!!! Everyone wants to...

How I saved my family from debt.

It is a scary word. DEBT. Every family has a lot of it and can not get out. My story is not as bad. We are stable with the military behind us. However, as the year comes closer to get back into civilian world. We started to get scared of our debt! So I did what anyone would do. Look online for tips.  I found this one pin on Pinterest about a wife getting out of debt in six months. So I presented this information to my husband and from then on we started our journey. It was easy to calculate everything. We started with the highest debt to the lowest. Every month we just paid one off. Easy yes, well not for everyone. Some may have trouble paying one off and not having living money on the side.  Well first you have to have 2,000 in saving for emergancy. That you build up frist. Once that has been saved you start paying it off little by little. When you pay off that first debt you use that money that you would be paying it to the next one. So in other words you double your monthly...
